CRAFTY GOODNESS with The Crafternoon Tea Hostess

On a bright & cheery Saturday in May, smelling all fresh from our new baby blue paint job, The Little Vintage Beauty Parlour were super excited to open our doors of our new "private party" room to host an exclusive 3 hour "Make a Vintage Fascinator with Cream Tea" Workshop.

What's behind door no 3?

The wonderfully intimate and informal workshop begins with our wonderful Crafternoon Hostess, Sam, talking you through a variety of vintage inspired options that you can plan, create and make from head pieces from Great Gatsby Inspired Headbands to Audrey Hepburn Bows. Then it's off to delve into the treasure trove of vintage habadashery, embellishments, Nottingham Lace and equipment that you'll need to make your unique headpiece, under the expert guidance of Sam.

Once the ladies started planning and creating their masterpieces, we took a refreshment break for a well earned rest...Afterall all this crafting is thirsty work. In wheeled our hostess trolley piled high with homemade fruit & cheese scones, pink lemonade and delicious sweet treats.

The finished results were just as amazing as the fun we had in the afternoon itself. One of our lovely attendees said:

    "I can't even put this on a scale due to the fun I experienced! The materials and supplies that we were given to use were of high quality, The hostess herself was very confident and informative of both the eras and looks that could be created during the session. It was a perfect way to spend a Saturday among friendly people and a lovely cup of tea served by The Little Vintage Beauty Parlour!"

Fresh out of a scene from Grease, our expert team of fabulous ladies with their signature vintage style and 1950s aprons will ensure that your leaving do memories begin well before your night starts, don't worry you won't find any Beauty School Drop Out here (see what I did there) infact our award winning The Little Vintage Beauty Parlour team are all fully trained in both modern & traditional hair and beauty techniques with an first class honours degree in "GLAMTASTIC".

You lovely ladies can choose from an updo: victory rolls, 1950s pin up style curls,  sleek side sweep, Art Deco effortlessly Chic or 1960s mega height, a mini beehive, the ultimate bouffant and volume - you decide!  Do you have a passion for Fashion, Shabby Chic or Old School Vintage Glamour?

Then this is the class for you. Starting by creating mood boards and rifling through a stash of genuine vintage haberdashery, you will plan and sew a vintage inspired head piece to take home.
Buttons, ribbons and a choice of colours are available to make that special vintage inspired design and rest assured all crafty projects will be completed in the session through support and professional creative guidance of our very own hostess, Samantha.

 This intimate workshop is a group session, suitable for beginners with a maximum of 10 attendees in our lovely 1950s themed The Little Vintage Beauty Parlour. The Little Vintage Beauty Parlour "Make-A-Vintage-Fascinator Craft Workshop" includes a sumptuous Cream Tea because frankly, we know how "Crafting" can help us work up an appetite.
